Impact learning and iteration
Impact is a new endeavour for most startups and VCs. New learnings are constantly being generated, and it's important these are acted upon. We've found these work best when there is a forum that:
Is dedicated for impact-related reflections
Has a regular cadence
Is attended/chaired by senior members of the team with impact expertise
Has the mandate to iterate processes as a result of insights
Big Society Capital holds annual impact conversations with its portfolio, to facilitate some of these conversations, and has found it to be a useful way of promoting learning when it comes to impact.
